Scottish Vision

It was the day after a gale force wind in Scotland. The air was chilly but fresh. Heading east this glorious view popped up as we meandered the narrow road. I stepped out of the car to absorb the scene to be greeted by snow falling ever so gently upon my back. Looking ahead the sun shone and the clouds were reaching out their arms to embrace the warmth. Meanwhile behind me snow fell and a wind was pushing the chill into the sunshine and into me. I thought about how life can be like this. Two alternatives, two points of view even when standing in the one spot. The chill drove me to return to the car and continue on heading towards the sunshine.
