In this instance I wanted to explore a minimal rendition with pastel on paper of a traditional subject. I was hoping for an uncluttered statement about timeless objects.
A borrowed quirky teapot caught my eye. Then I chose to pop some flowers into the spout and add my own colour thoughts about the same.
It is perhaps an attempt to allow just the present object of beauty before me to have all my attention without the clutter of past, present, or future concerns.
